Earliest time to Light Shabbos Candles
The earliest time to light Shabbos candles is 1 ¼ halachic hours before sunset. This Friday that time will be 6:23 pm.

Carlebach Kabbalos Shabbos
This Friday evening, the first minyan at 7:00 pm will be having a Carlebach Kabbalos Shabbos davvening.

We received a shipment of Artscroll Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur Machzorim. If you sponsored 1 set or multiple sets at our Simchas Torah auction and would like to have them inscribed in honor or in memory of someone, please contact Avi Grossman. if you have not yet redeemed your pledge please do so. 
Kiddushim During Sukkos
We look forwards to having festive Kiddushim in our beautiful Sukkah. Please contact Toby Grossman to sponsor or co-sponsor Kiddush for the first two days of Sukkos, Chol HaMoed Shabbos Sukkos, or Shmini Atzeres.
The Shabbos Morning Children's Groups
There will not be a 9:30 a.m. group this week
Preschool - 1st grade boys and girls led by Shira Michaels at 10:30 am.
Girls' group will be  at  led by Lexi Shafron 10:30 am.
Boy's group will be at 10:30 a.m. at the Beis Medrash led by David Goldenberg

Candy will only be provided at the end of the 10:30 a.m. groups.  Please assist us in enforcing this new rule.  Children who are having a hard time staying in groups will be brought to their parents in Shul.  Please be sure a parent is at Shul if your child is in groups. Thank you for your support as we make some adjustments to our groups.

Infusing your Rosh Ha Shannah with Sweetness
The Ohev Shalom Sisterhood invites you to a fun gathering on Tuesday, September 12th, at 8:00 p.m. where we will learn from Chef Jordona how to make home made infused honey.  The event will be at Dalia Yurowitz's  home at 6723 Windrock Rd.
Come meet new friends and get inspired for the upcoming Rosh Hashanah!
